True freedom begins with an initial choice followed with a sincere willingness to put forth the necessary effort! We tend to get out of it, in somewhat equal proportions, what we put into it. Christian counselors typically have a different understanding of what true freedom looks like.
My Specialty
As a Christian counselor for many years, my specialty is helping Christians that are struggling with addictive behaviors. I am certified as an addictions specialist and recognized by the CA Dept of Health Care Services as a Substance Abuse Professional authorized to provide Substance Use Disorder counseling services. Additionally, I’m certified by the United States Dept. of Transportation (DOT) to provide SAP evaluation, assessment and counseling services to employees in safety sensitive positions. If you are employed in a DOT “safety sensitive” position and have been asked to “stand-down” due to a DOT Rule 49 CFR regulation violation, I can help.

My passion is to assist those struggling with emotional and spiritual challenges. My Approach
In the counseling room, my approach is to assess, address, and assist the whole person. Addiction as well as most self-destructive behaviors, are merely a manifestation of something going on much deeper within. There is what is known as cause and effect and if the initial cause of the problem is not properly dealt with, the behaviors will remain.
